Page 13. I find the concept of self-esteem meter to be helpful and I ask my clients how follow their self-esteem meter is. I also ask them what fills the meter up and what makes it go down. Clients who judge themselves based on other people‘s opinion, often find that their self-esteem meter appears to have a leak, and that it is virtually impossible for them to feel good about themselves. It is too hard to please everybody, especially since people often want you to do things that go against what you have to do to be your to life purpose.
