Family Culture
Family Culture. It's wonderful to see how thoughtfully some families pass on the culture, values, and history of both the family and the business to the next generation. The grandparents in one family have formed a committee and run little programs for the younger children - kids from about 8 to 12 years old. The grandparents explain the family tree to them and show family pictures, getting the kids involved by asking questions like, "Which one of these is your great grandfather?" "Can you guess which one of these kids is your grandmother?" They tell stories about the family and its background.
