Confucius said that those who know the truth are…
Confucius said that those who know the truth are not equal to those who love it. Which is a very deep statement because you can know what the truth is but if you deliberately go and distort it or lie about it you are not acting in the highest manner that you can act.

In the book
Approach every disagreement as someone who wishes to learn and discover the truth, not as someone whose aim is to win a wordy victory. As Confucius warned, the one who merely knows the truth is not the equal of the one who loves it — and to deliberately distort or lie about a truth you know is to act far below yourself. Honor the people who are still seeking the truth, and be a little wary of those certain they have already found it. — True North (Ethics, Integrity, Truth, Values)
