Going through life requires managing and utilizing energy
Going through life requires managing and utilizing energy. If you go up to a person and imagine that he's unimportant and say hello to him you will exude a certain level of energy that is minimal. If you go over to that person and pretend that he is a long lost best friend, the energy that you will exude will be significantly different. That is the difference between positive and neutral/negative energy. We are able to control to a significant extent, not entirely The energy that we receive and the energy that we exude. Energy is something that you absorb as well something you put out. Input and output. Think about people around you and think about which people give off negative energy and which people give off positive energy to you and how do you feel about it afterwards. You are your container of energy. The energy is within you and what comes out can be positive or negative as you choose.

In the book
Every movement you make, inside or out, spends some of that reserve. You are always, whether you notice it or not, managing a finite supply. Standing still costs nothing; but going anywhere — overcoming the inner drag and the outer obstacles both — costs energy, and you have only so much of it. — Fuel (Energy)
