Continuing in this vein, there are various opinions about anti-Semitism and whether it is a significant problem or it is not. Some people say that Jewish people take actions that are not viewed well by others and anti-Semitism is not just against the Jews but anybody that would take these actions. There are others that say that anti-Semitism is a belief and is primarily directed against the Jews. What is the truth. It is important to recognize that we need to differentiate between the two and not become dogmatic about any particular position but to truly analyze the different points of you to determine what is fact and what is just perceived by other people. Again, empathy plays a crucial role in not letting these types of negative feelings to spiral out of control.
