You can tell the look of someone who is…

You can tell the look of someone who is a Victor and someone who has been defeated. That look is not something that necessarily needs to be taught. It is something that has been ingrained in the human psyche for many many years. It is always better to be in the Victor's position. This does not necessarily mean that you must beat the defeated or that you must win all the time. It means that you must act the victor and stand up straight and proud. Just acting like that will convey the impression of Victor and will automatically stop others from trying to invade your space

In the book

And let the climb point outward. Dig deeper than your own comfort, ask more of yourself, and do more for others, because a life aimed only at itself is a small one. Carry yourself, too, like someone who expects to prevail — standing straight and proud, the bearing of a victor rather than the defeated, quietly changes how the world meets you. Yet never so grimly that you forget to enjoy it: do not use your hardships as an excuse to stop living well, because nobody is forcing you to take it all so seriously. — Goals, Action & Defining Success (Goal/Action/Success/Motivation)
