I do not think of myself as a Holocaust…
I do not think of myself as a Holocaust survivor nor does that occupy my thoughts very much. It is a fact. It is also has had a an impact on me. That impact probably has more to do with habits that I have picked up from my mother as a result of her surviving the Holocaust. I do not necessarily feel any trauma as a result of this. That does not mean that I have not been traumatized, nor does it mean that it has not affected me. I do not and have not seen the Holocaust survivor issue to be a problem for me.
