s i look back at my life I see lessons that maybe useful to the next generation who will be called on to deal with expected and unexpected challenges that will inevitably emerge. My motivation and consuming passion many years ago was for delivering the best care tonight children and grandchildren. What I didn't realize was how much my ignorance is well as outside factors look influence the direction of my life and the actions. I share my thoughts the hopes of the next generation waiting mistakes that I made, that they stay the course regardless of challenges and surprises that might arise.

As I look back, I see lessons that may be useful to a next generation that will face its own expected and unexpected challenges; my consuming passion for many years has simply been the care of my children and grandchildren, and most of what I learned, I learned chasing that. Much was expected of me early — my father had me learning at an age when most children are still playing, and a visiting sage once tested me on my studies and called me a young genius — and those expectations, for better and for worse, shaped the whole of who I became.
