Page 52 keyword non-judgmental. Dr John Cabot zin and MIT train professor was one of the first scientists to study the health benefits of mindfulness. He had a clinical definition which says that mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. That last word nonjudgmentally is most important when we are trying to look at our soundtracks that get played back in our mind. If the soundtracks that we're playing back are judgmental about ourselves and what we might have done wrong or we don't want people to know then it is a non-kind soundtrack but if the soundtrack step we play in our mind are kind those are good.
