The principles of do unto others as you would…

The principles of do unto others as you would have done unto yourself, and love your neighbor as yourself, are not exclusively about being nice. It is a formula of being nice, but also being concerned and caring enough that if you need to provide information or criticism to another individual to help them be a better person, that is part of those principles. Those principles also mean that you must have a healthy amount of self-respect and self-esteem so that if someone sees that you are in need of anything, that you will welcome what they have to say in your striving for growth.
