I will go back to the question about expectations

I will go back to the question about expectations. The expectations that my father had of me were very very difficult to achieve. He had tremendously high standards that he set for me. I believe that he was trying to turn me into the person that he was unable to be. I was expected to wake up in the morning to go to the synagogue everyday when it was feasible. Many times it was not feasible because the synagogue was far away or did not have a minion. As a matter of fact for many many years, even after I was married, my father used to call me everyday they ask me if I went to minion that day.
