With the explosion of artificial intelligence happening to us…
With the explosion of artificial intelligence happening to us today, where does that leave us as human beings? Can artificial intelligence take over the whole world? Yes it probably can. But I'm sure that people will try to put in safeguards, and hopefully they will succeed. But it does not do us any good to sit and speculate what AI will be able to do or not be able to do from our vantage point. It becomes more important to recognize that we as humans are different than AI and have a different intelligence than AI. And the skills that we received from God should be utilized to excel in all of the areas of being human with humanistic feelings. If you're thinking about going into a career, what will you be able to do that an AI robot will not be able to do. Remember that AI is a bot that searches through billions and billions of words on the internet to create its own speech. So anything that has been written can have been read by this AI but. However, if you create an original voice or an original statement, that is something that AI will not be able to replicate. AI is or does not have the trait of creativity to take unique themes and craft something of your own. Do your best to be an individual and to stand out as a creative unique person as God intended us to be. That also means being unpredictable. And most of all it means having empathy for another human being. AI does not have feelings and at this point cannot have feelings. God gave us feelings to teach and guide us within ourselves and with our relationships. And the best thing that he gave us regarding feelings is empathy which is the ability to understand that somebody is feeling bad or good, pain or pleasure, etc empathy is also something that can be learned by observing and really trying to feel who the other person is and what they're all about and what is going on in their lives. It is about understanding the other person's perspective. Whenever you interact with another person you should try to understand where they are coming from and where they are trying to go. That is the most useful tool to enable you to get to where you want to go. I cannot begin to tell you the number of deals that people could not make with certain business people that I was able to make just by being empathetic, listening to what they had to say, and listening to what they really wanted. Instead of focusing on what I was trying to do, I listened to what they wanted, and was then able to give them what they want while still getting everything that I wanted. That is one of the foundations of my success. Another sense that AI does not have is called situational awareness. When you walk into a room and you watch how everybody interacts and how conversations flow and how people act, you develop a sensitivity that is not always conscious of how to proceed. Before I walk into a room I or as I walk into the room I always scan the room to see what's going on, where are the people at where they open space is at, where the power players are where the nice people are where everybody is situated and what is the mood of the room. When I walk into a restaurant, I look around and I see our people enjoying themselves or are they not. Are they loud or are they quiet. I use all of these factors when I am trying to determine the ambiance in a room that allows me to control myself within the room. AI does not have that either.

In the book
You are growing up beside machines that can read everything ever written. So learn to do the things the machine cannot: to be original, to create, to bring your own human voice and human feeling to the world. If growth is so possible and learning so rewarding, why do so few people actually expand their range? […] Remember always that it is not the learning itself that counts, but what you do with it. And do the one thing the machines never will: stay curious, keep creating, and remain stubbornly human. [Write here, in your own hand, the one skill or virtue you most want to have built by the end of your life — and the first small habit you will start this week to begin building it.] — Expanding Your Range (Growth/Change/Education/Learning/Habit)
