The brain releases chemicals when your census feel under attack for any reason. These chemicals that are released in your brain is defined as stress when you are in a negative situation. You are more frequently under stress when you are in a lower status position and need to fight your way up, then when you are in a high status position. People naturally will not attack you, or attack you less, or will provide you with perks, when you are in a higher status position. That is why a, for your own self comfort, it is better to be in a higher status position. Again, I emphasize, not at the expense of anybody else, and not to make or defeat other people. It is not only the actual stress that takes away energy it is just the mere fact that you must be vigilant for issues that might arise, this also takes away a significant amount of energy.
