Values can be divided into two types

Values can be divided into two types. There are core values which are values that hit you in the gut and are the values that are important to you and that when you fulfill these values it makes life worth living. The second type of value that there is are called external values. External values are values that are defined by other people and these values if are used in an unhealthy way will end up conflicting with the core values. (This could be BIG (new in the world of self-therapeutics, etc — Also, could be just me, but I have never felt like I was given a value defined by others that conflicted with my core values, SO, I want to hear more because I probably have just never considered it in those terms. For me, if I were in a conversation with you, I would ask “tell me about that, how has that happened to you before.)
