Page 105. I had to acknowledge that I had a choice. To keep doing what I was doing or to make an adjustment. That point came when I realized, and, more important, admitted that I was not very happy in my life. Part of this realization was that checking off all those academic boxes on the way to tenure and getting a seat at the academic table in terms of publication, and speaking invitation, would not make my Life happy.
