One beliefs that one abilities are limited by one’s genetic prescribed characteristics that belief manifest itself in all sorts of I can’t or I’m not statements. We can shape our own potential. The second myth holds that if you do something for long enough, you’re bound to get better at it. Doing the same thing over and over again is exact exactly the same way is not a recipe for improvement. It is a respite for stagnation and gradual decline. The reality is, that all of these things managing, selling, teamwork are specialized skills, and unless you are using practice technique, specifically designed to improve those particular skills, trying hard will not get you very far.
