- Consider the sorts of practices you want to take up to help you act on your vision of flourishing. What one practice can you commit to in order to take an important step toward living as you believe you are responsible to live? * Who in your life could help keep you accountable? Perhaps a friend or family member might even want to take up this practice together with you. 2. Consider the sort of community you might need in order to live into your vision of flourishing life. * Do you have a community of people who share the most important broad aspects of your vision of flourishing life? (i) If you don't, what steps might you take to find or build a community like that? (ii) If you do, what practices or rituals regularly bring you together? What sorts of practices might you want to propose you take up together? * Who do you talk with about what matters most? Are any of them people you regularly disagree with? (i) What intentional steps might you take to go deeper with a friend who has a very different vision of flourishing life? * If you have two rather distinct groups of friends, some with whom you have greater alignment and some with whom you have less, what might you do to connect these two groups? What kinds of conversations would you want to have? How could you create opportunities for these groups to learn from each other? (Maybe reading this book together would be helpful!)
