Life is full of trials, challenges, and a balance…

Life is full of trials, challenges, and a balance or imbalance of good and bad things. No one in life goes through life with only great things happening to them. Each trial and challenge creates a risk and an opportunity. Choices you make and the steps you take will dictate, maybe not 100%, but will significantly the results of the choices that you make. While other people are factors can try to throw your choices off track, if you believe in the correctness of your choices, you will ultimately succeed.

In the book

Failure is not the opposite of success; it is part of the process of success — and the people who arrange their lives to avoid all failure end up avoiding success right along with it. Every trial, then, is two things at once: a risk and an opportunity, and which one it becomes is decided largely by the choices you make in response to it. So the promise of this chapter is not that you will avoid the falls — you won't — but that you can learn to fall in a way that teaches you, recover in a way that strengthens you, and bend without breaking when the wind shifts. — Failure & Resilience (Challenge/Failure/Perseverance/Accountability/Flexibility/Resilience)
