Some of the qualities that creative thinkers have are that they keep asking questions, they practice zero-based thinking which means that would I do this again if I was starting from scratch and many times of the answer is no when you should stop what you're doing. Another example would be a stack that is losing money would you buy that stock right now. If the answer is no you should be selling the stock. Some of the other qualities are that they are prepared to change their minds, when they get new facts, they can admit when they're wrong, they always continue to learn, they're always goal-oriented, they don't let the egos get in the way, they always change the things around them, they are in a never-ending hunt for new experiences, they're very keen observers, they look at life positively, if they get in the zone, they're big on daydreaming, they are risk takers, they give themselves alone time, etc all of these things will improve you.
