I'm not sure what I meant with the with the bad part of the empathy. There were two thoughts that were going through my mind that that time, one of them being for the bad where I got hurt in the process by being a little bit too empathetic. The other one was that sometimes that empathy can be used manipulatively which I very much try to avoid. But there are times when the empathy gives me information that is hurtful. So as an example I might see someone that's telling me a a reason for why they didn't show up at work or why they did a certain thing at work. And I happen to know that it's total BS. I will many times not acknowledge or not reveal that I have the information when there's no purpose to it. This paragraph has been a very messed up paragraph so.
