The hero is tested encounters, villains, obstacles, and conflicts that stand in the way of achieving their dream. Overcoming these hurdles moves the story forward and keeps the audience invested and engaged. Act three is the resolution in the third and final act the hero finds a solution to their problem, achieves their dream, and this is the critical critical transforms themselves or the world for a bet for the better.
