Given that there is a nonzero probability that the no-free-will hypothesis is true, I am able to free myself of animosity toward any person (well, almost), no matter how evil they might appear to me. I find this stance very helpful for my personal happiness and well-being. I notice that as I grow older, this no-hate attitude has become stronger. I feel much more compassionate toward others, even those who have somehow harmed me.
