When we have formed beliefs that are direct conflict with our conscious desires, intentions, values, and goals in life then we have a problem. When we have an experience in our conscious awareness, our subconscious is busy in the background, looking for past experiences that resonate with it or that are in someway similar. It’s saying, what can we draw on to help us deal with the situation? This is the reason the powerful experiences of our early lives can hold such a powerful sway over our present lives.
