Core Emotions Are Programs for Action, and These Actions Are Meant to Be Adaptive to the Moment or sex-Emotions drive us to act in the moment. We feel these as im-pulses. Be it anger, sadness, fear, disgust, joy, excitement, ual excitement, core emotions prime us for action. We learn abour our specific impulse by tuning in to our body in the moment we are having an emotional experience. The impulse will reveal itself when we focus on the emotion. There are general impulses for each core emotion.
